Forward-Center Astou Ndour Signs With Chicago

The Chicago Sky have signed forward-center Astou Ndour, General Manager and Head Coach Amber Stocks announced. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“The city of Chicago is a dream for anyone who likes basketball,” Ndour said. “I am excited for this opportunity with the Chicago Sky and will work very hard to achieve all of the team’s goals this year.”

Originally acquired by the Sky during a 2017 trade with the San Antonio Stars (now the Las Vegas Aces), the 6-foot-5 Ndour was suspended shortly after due to injury. During the 2016 season with San Antonio, Ndour played in 30 games and averaged 6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
