The Chicago Sky announced their preseason schedule for the 2018 season, which will feature matches against the Indiana Fever, Atlanta Dream, and the defending WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx.
The team will open preseason with a back-to-back set beginning with a 3 p.m. game on Sunday, May 6 against the Atlanta Dream on its new home court of Wintrust Arena.
The Sky will hit the road the next day to take on the rebuilding Indiana Fever at 11:30 a.m. at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Fever finished three games behind Chicago in 2017 with a 9-25 record, but took the season series 2-1.
In the final tune-up before the season opener, the Sky will visit Maya Moore, 2017 finals MVP Sylvia Fowles and Minnesota Lynx at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 12. Chicago accounted for one of Minnesota’s seven losses in 2017.
The Chicago Sky will tip off the regular season on the road against the Indiana Fever at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 19. A home opener will follow on Sunday, May 20, including a lineup of entertainment and festivities for fans before the Sky goes up against the New York Liberty at 6 p.m.
