Kahleah Copper was named to the USA Basketball Women’s National Team exhibition roster earlier this week. Team USA will play in two exhibition games, one on Nov. 5 against the University of Tennessee and Nov. 12 against Duke University.

In her first game with Shaanxi on Oct. 26, Williams came off the bench and ended up with 25 points, six rebounds and eight assists. Her play helped Shaanxi secure its first win of the season. She followed that up with 11 points, five rebounds and five assists on Oct. 28 to help Shaanxi to its second victory of the year in a come-from-behind effort.

Marina Mabrey had a big week with CBK Mersin, averaging 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists in two games this week. Her nine assists on Oct. 29 were a season high. She’s up to 17.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.0 assists since joining Mersin. Mersin went 2-0 in its games this week, including in a matchup against Sky teammate Dana Evans and Besiktas.

CBK Mersin teammate Elizabeth Williams helped anchor their team on the defensive end, shoring up a season-high four blocks on Oct. 29 against Besiktas. The next chance to catch Mabrey and Williams in action is Tuesday, Oct. 31 when they take on Bologna.

In another big week, Dana Evans averaged 29.5 points, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals in two games. She dropped 30 points in Sunday’s matchup against Mabrey and Williams. She has now recorded 27.0 points and 5.3 assists per game while shooting 40.8% from deep (7.0 3-FGA).

As Spar Girona moves to 6-2 on the season across EuroCup and Spanish League play, Morgan Bertsch continues to make an impact. She averaged 10.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in two appearances this week. Girona beat Piestanke C., 68-53 on Oct. 25, and Bembibre, 86-57, on Oct. 28.

Sika Koné had a strong week with CB Avenida, tallying back-to-back game highs of 16 points and 20 rebounds. She also pulled down 11 rebounds in her 20-point game on Oct. 28, both of which were season highs. She’s now averaging 10.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game and Koné’s playing time has increased in almost every game she’s played. CB Avenida’s next matchup is on Oct. 31 against Landes.

Posting a tremendous defensive effort in the one game her team played this week, Taylor Soule recorded three steals for the third game in a row to go along with eight points. She’s now averaging 2.3 steals per game. San Martino moved to 3-1 this season.

Advancing to 6-3 in Italian League and EuroLeague play overall, Robyn Parks and Schio went 1-1 this week. Parks averaged 12.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in her two appearances, one of which was a 31-point victory over Roma.

Alanna Smith scored seven points, recorded eight rebounds and two steals on Oct. 26 against Gdynia. Emlak’s next game is on Nov. 1 against Fribourg in a EuroCup matchup.

Chicago Sky players currently overseas are a combined 36-13 (.735 win percentage) with their teams so far this season when joining their team.
