Sky Overseas + Offseason Updates: Rundown No. 20

CHICAGO (March 18, 2024) — Nine Chicago Sky players are currently participating in domestic or overseas play this offseason. Below are the listed players, their respective teams, league and country.

Isabelle Harrison suited up for Team Cloud again in Week 3 of Athletes Unlimited. Her week was highlighted by a 41-point, 13-rebound double-double on March 14 against Team Mitchell in a 105-101 win. She made 16 of her 22 shot attempts (72.7%) in the win. She also scored 16 points in 15 minutes against Team Gray on March 17.

In six Athletes Unlimited games, Harrison is averaging 14.8 points and 4.0 rebounds on 53.1% shooting in 18.5 minutes per game. Team Cloud went 2-1 in games played this week.

Dana Evans helped lead Beşiktaş to its eighth straight win behind two game-leading scoring performances last week. She scored 14 points in the second and last EuroCup semifinal matchup with Girona on March 14 before recording 31 points and eight assists against Bursa on March 17.

Because Beşiktaş defeated Girona in both of their EuroCup semifinal games, Beşiktaş is advancing to the EuroCup final. Evans and Beşiktaş are set to take on the London Lions in the final beginning on April 3.

Marina Mabrey and Elizabeth Williams helped guide Mersin to a 93-80 win over Emlak in Turkish League play last week. Mabrey recorded a 21-point, 10-assist double-double while adding five rebounds and three steals in the win. She made five of her nine three-point attempts against Emlak, matching her overseas season high. Williams recorded 13 points, a team-leading eight rebounds, a block and an assist.

Mersin is 17-10 in Turkish League play, 2.5 games behind fourth-place Izmit. Mabrey, Williams and Mersin continue Turkish play on March 20 against Galatasaray.

Taya Reimer and Lindsay Allen each stuffed the stat sheet in a Botas win over Antalya last week. Reimer neared a triple-double, recording eight points and game highs of 10 rebounds and nine assists. Allen scored 12 points to go along with six assists and four rebounds in the win.

Botas remains 2.0 games behind seventh-ranked Nesibe in the Turkish League standings. Botas is next scheduled to play Kayseri on March 20.

Sika Koné and Avenida picked up their third straight win last week by defeating Barca CBS 67-52. Koné recorded 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds in the win. She made six of her eight shot attempts (75.0%).

Avenida is in first place in the Spanish League standings, tied with Valencia at 21-4. The two teams face off in Avenida’s next game on March 28.

Michaela Onyenwere recorded 17 points and three rebounds in Ormanspor’s Turkish League victory over Galatasaray on March 16.

Ormanspor remains in second place in the Turkish League standings at 19-8, 8.0 games behind top-ranked Fenerbahce.

Chennedy Carter did not appear in a game last week.

Chicago Sky players currently overseas are a combined 163-97 (.627 win percentage) with their teams so far this season.
