CHICAGO (December 18, 2023) — The Chicago Sky announced its schedule for the 2024 season, the WNBA announced today. The upcoming season marks the 28th season for the WNBA and the 19th season for the Chicago Sky franchise. More information about the WNBA season schedule can be found on the league website here. Attached is a poster and printed calendar of the 2024 schedule.

The Sky will open its first three games on the road to open up the season with a two-game series against Dallas (May 15, May 18) and a single game in New York on May 23. This will be the longest road trip of the season for the Sky, spanning eight days. The home opener at Wintrust Arena will be on Saturday, May 25 against Connecticut at 7:00 p.m. CST.

The Sky are 10-8 in home openers all-time. Chicago has played Connecticut in home openers three times in franchise history, going 3-0 in those games. The Sky hold a 32-33 head-to-head record against the Sun and are 17-15 at home against Connecticut all time.

In the middle of the season, the Sky play a stretch of games from July 2 to August 23 where they play eight of 11 games on the road. That stretch is broken up from July 16 to August 15 for the All-Star break and 2024 Paris Olympics.

Chicago will end the regular season with a two-game road trip at Atlanta on Tuesday, September 17 and in Connecticut on Thursday, September 19. The Sky also concluded the 2022 regular season in Connecticut.

Local and national broadcast games, theme night games at Wintrust Arena and 2024 preseason games will all be announced at a later date.

“It’s always exciting to see the schedule come out,” Chicago Sky General Manager Jeff Pagliocca said. “We cannot wait for the 2024 season to start under Coach Weatherspoon’s leadership, and the schedule is always a great indicator of what’s to come this summer. We look forward to playing high energy Sky basketball in front of our Skytown fans at Wintrust Arena and on the road.”
