In an effort to enhance public safety and the fan experience, Wintrust Arena will implement the use of metal detectors and follow policy limiting the size and style of bags allowed in the facility.
Prohibited bags include but are not limited to the following:
- Purses, bags, or containers larger than a small clutch bag (a clutch bag is 4.5″ x 6.5″ or 6.5″ x 4.5″, approximately the size of a hand without a strap).
- Camera bags
- Cinch bags
- Briefcases
- Computer bags
- Backpacks
- Coolers (including thermos)
- Fanny packs
- Luggage of any kind
Approved bags include:
- Wintrust Arena approved clear plastic, vinyl or PVC that do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ (see image below). Bags may be hand carried or have a shoulder strap.
- One gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc).
- Small Clutch Purse (Approximately the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap. No larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ with or without a hand strap. Can be carried separately or within an approved plastic bag.
An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the entrance.
