Seven Sky Players Score in Double Figures; Chicago Defeats Dallas 91-81
GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE
● Chicago saw seven players (Kahleah Copper, Candace Parker, Stefanie Dolson, Allie Quigley, Courtney Vandersloot, Diamond DeShields, Azur Stevens) score in double figures to help lead the Sky to a 91-81 win over the Wings.
● With Sky center Astou Ndour-Fall having returned from Spain and made available prior to tip-off, Wednesday’s game against the Wings was the first time the Sky had its complete, 11-player roster available this season.
● Sky Head Coach and General Manager James Wade recorded his 42nd win at the helm of the Sky on Wednesday. This propels him into a tie alongside former Sky head coach Steven Key for the second-most victories in franchise history.
● Sky forward Candace Parker moved into seventh place all-time in career blocks. She batted away two shots against the Wings.
● Sky guard Courtney Vandersloot dished out 12 assists against the Wings, which puts her in a tie with Ticha Penicheiro for most games recording 10 or more assists in a career (64). Vandersloot also finished with 10 points, good for the 45th double-double of her career.
● Sky forward Candace Parker recorded her 137th career double-double and recorded 10 points to go with 10 rebounds.

● After a hot start from downton, Chicago ended up shooting 6-13 (46.2%) from behind the arc in the first half, and would finish the game 10 of 23.
● The Wings outscored Chicago 45-34 in bench points.
● The Sky’s offensive performance tonight was the first time in franchise history that the team had seven players score 10 or more points in a single game.
● Chicago scored 21 points off turnovers in comparison to Dallas (17).
CHICAGO NOTES
● The Sky’s offense started strong against the Wings, as Chicago scored 30 points, shot 63% from the field and led 30-11 in the first quarter. In comparison, the Sky failed to score 20 points in any quarter against the Connecticut Sun on June 27.
● The Wings scored just 11 points in the first quarter, the lowest total number of points the Sky has surrendered in a single quarter this season.
● The Sky led 51-29 at the end of the first half and with the win, the team is now 9-0 when leading after the first two quarters of play this season.
● Sky guard Allie Quigley finished the game scoring 10 points. Tonight was Quigley’s ninth straight game scoring in double figures.
● Sky center Stefanie Dolson knocked down her 100th career three-pointer with 6:54 to play in the first quarter.
● After pulling in eight defensive rebounds in tonight’s game, Sky forward Candace Parker has moved into second place all-time, just ahead of Lisa Leslie.
