The Chicago Sky walked off the court with a win in their final home game of the season, defeating the Toronto Tempo 97-85 despite only having nine of their 15 rostered players available.

Star rookie Sydney Taylor had an explosive night, recording 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal while shooting a perfect 5 for 5 from the free-throw line. The undrafted rookie recorded her 15th game of the season with at least 15 points, doing so in front of the home crowd one final time this season.

Fellow rookie Gabriela Jaquez also made the most of her final home game, scoring 18 points while shooting 80% from the field and 66.7% from beyond the arc.

The Sky's balanced effort was evident on the scoresheet. Center Kamilla Cardoso finished with 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting, while Jacy Sheldon added 12 points. Courtney Vandersloot contributed 10 points and nine assists in the win.

The Sky's developmental players also played key roles in the victory. Making her first appearance in a Chicago jersey, guard Kate Martin recorded five points while shooting 50% from the field. Forward Morgan Maly added eight points, an assist and a steal while shooting 66.7% from three-point range.

During the postgame press conference, both Martin and Maly said they were happy to take advantage of any opportunity they receive in the league and with the Sky.

For the Tempo, Isabelle Harrison scored 17 of her 21 points in the first half and pulled down 13 rebounds. Laura Juskaite added 20 points for Toronto.

The Sky conclude the 2026 regular season season on the road against the Washington Mystics on Thursday, Sept. 24. Chicago looks to finish the season with back-to-back wins.
