2024 SEASON OVERVIEW: The Sky received Rachel Banham and Moriah Jefferson on July 17 in a trade with Connecticut. Banham appeared in 16 games for the Sky, starting in nine, and averaged 6.9 points and 1.8 rebounds. She made 38.2% of her 4.8 three-point attempts, the latter of which would be her career high for a full season.
In her first game with the Sky, she started and recorded seven points on Aug. 15 against Phoenix. In the following game on Aug. 17 against Los Angeles, she scored 14 points while making three of her five three-point attempts. She scored nine points on three made threes against Connecticut on Aug. 23.
She matched her Sky season high for points on Aug. 30 against Indiana, scoring 14 points while making four of her 10 three-point attempts. In a three-game span from Sept. 13-17, Banham averaged 16.3 points and 3.0 assists per game while making 50.0% of her 8.7 three-point attempts per game.
She set season highs of 17 points, five rebounds and seven assists while making five of her 11 three-point attempts on Sept. 15 against Phoenix.
