2024 SEASON OVERVIEW: After signing with the Sky as a free agent on Feb. 1, Lindsay Allen quickly became a key piece off the bench before later joining the starting lineup.
This season, she set career highs in games played (40), games started (28), points (264), field goals made (104), assists (157), rebounds (80) and steals (32). As the Sky’s starting point guard, she averaged 6.6 points and 3.9 assists per game. She led the Sky in assists 21 times this season, the most for any player on the team.
Allen recorded her first double-figure scoring game for the Sky on June 14, securing 10 points against Washington. She recorded a season high of seven assists four times this year, first doing so in a June 23 win against Indiana.
She stuffed the stat sheet on June 27 against Las Vegas, recording 10 points, five assists and four rebounds. She followed that up with 13 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two blocks on June 30 against Minnesota.
From Aug. 17-30, Allen averaged 12.5 points and 4.8 assists while shooting 52.7% from the field, 40.0% from three and 86.7% from the free throw line. That stretch of time included a 16-point performance on Aug. 17 against Los Angeles, a 16-point outing on Aug. 25 against Las Vegas and a season-high 19 points on Aug. 30 against Indiana.
Allen finished the year ranked tied for 10th in Sky franchise history for most assists in a single season with 157.
