Chicago Sky Sign Morgan Maly to Developmental Contract
CHICAGO (Aug. 19, 2026) — The Chicago Sky signed guard/forward Morgan Maly to a developmental contract, the team announced today.
Maly (pronounced: Molly) most recently spent training camp with the Phoenix Mercury ahead of the 2026 season. In two preseason games, she totaled four points, four rebounds and two steals in limited minutes.
The 24-year-old previously spent 2025 training camp with Connecticut. Following training camp with the Sun, Maly played last season with Olympiacos in Greece. In 22 games there, she averaged 18.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and shot 46.1% from the field and 36.6% from three (on 6.6 attempts).
She dropped a season-high 39 points in November of last year in Greece before shooting 6 of 10 from three just three games later. Maly recorded nine double-doubles on the year.
Prior to her professional career, Maly played five collegiate seasons with Creighton. In five years and 150 games, she averaged 13.8 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 37.1% from three on six attempts per game. In her final college year, she averaged 17.3 points and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 42.7% from three.
Maly is Creighton’s all-time program leader in threes made (333) and is second in team history in points (2,072).
Maly will wear No. 15 for the Sky. She will be available for Friday’s game against the Golden State Valkyries, if activated.
