CHICAGO (Sept. 23, 2026) — The Chicago Sky converted guard/forward Morgan Maly to a rest-of-season emergency hardship contract, the team announced today.

Maly was most recently on a developmental contract with the Sky, signing with the organization on Aug. 19. 

Maly averages 4.5 points and shoots 50% from three this season in four games. She secured career highs of 10 points and six rebounds on Sept. 19 against Atlanta. In her last two games, she’s averaging 9.0 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 50% from three on four attempts a night.

Prior to her professional career, Maly played five collegiate seasons with Creighton. In five years and 150 games, she averaged 13.8 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 37.1% from three on six attempts per game. Maly is Creighton’s all-time program leader in threes made (333) and is second in team history in points (2,072).
