Sky's Historic Win Streak Snapped; Fall to Connecticut on Sunday
GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE
● Chicago had its seven-game win streak snapped on Sunday. The Sky is now 26-30 all-time against the Sun, having previously won both of its games against the Sun this season in mid-June.
● Sky guard Kahleah Copper was the lone Sky player to tally more than 30 minutes on the floor. Sky forward Candace Parker had the second-most minutes played, notching just over 26 minutes against the Sun.
● Chicago was a perfect 7 of 7 from the charity stripe against Connecticut. Specifically, both Copper and guard Allie Quigley went 2 for 2 from the free-throw line.
● After today’s loss to the Sun, the Sky have just one more game that will count in the Commissioner’s Cup standings. Currently, the Sky is in second place behind the Sun.

CHICAGO NOTES
● Sky guard Courtney Vandersloot (7 points, game-high 7 assists) was the only Sky player to record an assist in the first half, as she dished out five after two quarters of play. This season, the Sky average 11 assists per game by all other players.
● Chicago’s 44 points scored through three quarters was the second-lowest mark of the season to date. (43 points vs. Los
Angeles on May 28).
● Three Sky players (center Ruthy Hebard, Quigley and guard Lexi Brown) each shot at least 50% from the field. Hebard led all Sky players in field goal percentage (66.7%) and scored 9 points.
● Sky guard Allie Quigley poured in a team-high 11 points. Quigley has now scored 10+ points in eight consecutive games.
● Chicago’s bench outscored Connecticut’s bench 16-0 in the first half, and finished having scored 29 points in comparison to the Sun’s bench (10).
