Chicago Sky Top 10 - Allie Quigley

Allie Quigley was acquired by the Chicago Sky as a free agent in 2013. In her debut season with the Sky, Quigley played in all 34 regular season games and finished with an average of 3.8 points per game.
The summer of 2014 proved to be Quigley’s breakout season. She recorded career-highs in several statistical categories. She scored 27 points on July 13 against Atlanta. She also broke her record for field goals made (12), field goals attempted (22), and steals (4) at that game. On July 25 she tallied a career-high six assists. She appeared in all 34 games for the Sky that season and made her first career start on June 10 against Seattle.
In 2014, Quigley earned Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors the week of August 4th. She received this honor after scoring 17+ points off the bench in three consecutive games. She tallied a total of 21 games of double digit scoring. Quigley’s impressive off the bench performance in the 2014 season earned her the Sixth Woman of the Year Award. She ended the season with an average of 11.2 points per game and 2.2 rebounds per game.
Quigley has continued to shine in the 2015 season. The 2014 Sixth Woman of the Year transitioned into a member of the starting lineup for six games this season. She made her first season start on June 20 against San Antonio in which she scored a season-high 19 points. A few games later on July 2 against Connecticut, Quigley again scored 19 points, seven of which were in the first two minutes of the contest. Then with 15.4 seconds left in the game, Quigley made two go-ahead free throws to help secure a 77-74 victory over the Sun.
As the season prolongs, Quigley continues to add value and excitement to the team. On July 10 against Minnesota, she scored on an alley-oop from Jamierra Faulkner at the third quarter buzzer. This play received the number nine spot on Sports Center’s Top Ten that night.
Allie Quigley’s hard work, dedication, and improvement have earned her a place on the list of Top Ten Sky Players of all time. The Sky looks forward to seeing her continue to grow and develop her skills.
