Chicago Sky, WCIU, The U Announce Exclusive Broadcast Partnership

CHICAGO (February 6, 2025) — Chicago Sky and Weigel Broadcasting Co.’s WCIU, The U announced today an exclusive broadcast partnership with WCIU, The U as the official television home of the Sky. WCIU, The U, is seen on Channel 26.1, XFINITY 183/1026, DirecTV 26, Dish 26, Astound TV 6, Spectrum Charter 22/616, U-Verse 10/1010 and YouTube TV.

WCIU, The U will provide live television broadcasts of 30+ Sky games this upcoming season and games will be available across all platforms, including over-the-air, cable, satellite and streaming.

The Sky’s local broadcast schedule for the 2025 WNBA season will be released at a later date.

Weigel will be working with additional broadcast companies to expand free over-the-air access of Sky games in television markets beyond the Chicagoland area.

Chicago will tip off the 2025 regular season on Saturday, May 17 against the Indiana Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 12 p.m. CT.
