CHICAGO (May 10, 2021) – The Chicago Sky waived Jessica January, Sparkle Taylor and Sierra Campisano, the team announced today.
Taylor and Campisano joined the Sky on April 17, 2021, after signing training camp contracts. January, who played her college basketball at nearby DePaul University, signed a training camp contract on April 13, 2021.
During her collegiate career at Cal Poly, Campisano earned Big West All-Conference First Team honors following the 2019-20 season. Taylor was named as the 2016 C-USA Sixth Player of the Year as part of her junior campaign at the University of Texas El Paso.
The Sky host the Indiana Fever for its second and final preseason game of 2021 on Tuesday, May 11 at 3:30p CT from Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
