Chicago Sky Signs Morgan Bertsch to Training Camp Contract 

 

CHICAGO (April 18, 2023) — The Chicago Sky announced today the team has signed forward Morgan Bertsch to a training camp contract.

Bertsch was drafted 29th overall in the 2019 WNBA Draft by Dallas before signing training camp contracts with Connecticut (2021) and Dallas (2022). She spent four years at UC Davis, where she averaged 18.3 points and 5.2 rebounds during her four years. She finished her career as an Aggie as the all-time leading scorer in the history of both the men’s and women’s programs with 2,422 career points, Big West Conference Player of the Year (2019), Big West Tournament Most Valuable Player (2019) and Big West Conference All-Tournament Team (2017, 2018, 2019).

The Santa Rosa, Calif., native is averaging 17.0 points and 6.7 rebounds while shooting 59.2% from the field with Kangoeroes in Belgium and recorded 17.3 points and 4.9 rebounds during EuroLeague play.
