CHICAGO (April 14, 2022) – Chicago Sky General Manager and Head Coach James Wade continues to bolster the team’s training camp roster, it was announced today, with the signing of former Rhode Island Rams star Emmanuelle Tahane. The roster now stands at 21 players.
A 6’1” forward from Bondy, France, Tahene split her collegiate years between the Missouri Tigers (2017-19) and the Rhode Island Rams (2020-22). After coming off the bench with the Tigers, Tahane shined in a starting role with the Rams. She made the Atlantic 10 First Team in consecutive years and was named the conference Co-Player of the Year in 2021. This past season, she led the Rams to a 22-7 record after posting averages of 13.7 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 55.3% from the field.
Tahane will join the team when training camp begins on Sunday, April 17. Wade will have until May 5 to finalize the roster at its maximum number of 12 players.
