CHICAGO (March 18, 2026) — Four Chicago Sky players are currently participating or set to play in domestic or overseas play this offseason. Below are the listed players, their respective teams, league and country.

FIBA World Cup Qualifying 2026
Angel Reese made her senior national team competitive debut with the USA World Cup Qualifying Team from March 11-17 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The United States went 5-0 in those games. In just 16.2 minutes, Reese averaged 6.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.6 stocks. She had three games with at least one steal, and recorded a two-block, two-steal game against New Zealand. Her top performance came in a 91-48 win over host team Puerto Rico, in which she recorded a 10-point, 13-rebound double-double.
Kamilla Cardoso suited up for Brazil's World Cup Qualifying Team in host city Wuhan, China. Each country competing was split into several groups. Cardoso had a strong tournament, averaging 15.4 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in five games. Her best performance came in a big win over South Sudan, where she recorded 23 points, 17 rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
Sevgi Uzun played for her country Turkey, which also served as the host team for its group with play tipping off in Istanbul. Uzun started all games and averaged an impressive 15.2 points on 38.9% shooting from three. She also averaged 2.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.6 blocks and 1.0 steals.
Kia Nurse suited up for the Canadian National Team, which played in the same pod as Uzun in Turkey. Nurse started all five games and averaged 5.6 points.
After the final results of the 2026 FIBA World Cup Qualifying Tournament, the United States (Angel Reese), Turkey (Sevgi Uzun) and Nigeria (Rena Wakama - HC) all advanced to the 16-team 2026 FIBA World Cup taking place in September.
Club Domestic/International Play
Reese played four games for Rose BC in Unrivaled after joining the team in late February. In four games, she averaged 12.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.8 blocks while shooting 52.5% from the field. She had season highs of 17 points and 15 rebounds in separate games.
Rebecca Allen and Rachel Banham, who were both suiting up for Lunar Owls BC in Unrivaled, concluded their season. Allen recorded her season high of 10 points on two separate occasions. Banham had back-to-back games with 12 points, knocking down a total of eight three-pointers in those two games (Feb. 6 and 17). Banham shot 38.5% from three on the season.
Hailey Van Lith spent the 2026 season in Unrivaled's player development pool.
Elizabeth Williams' Galatasaray is in both the EuroLeague and KBSL playoffs after dominant regular seasons in each that saw the club sit in second in the Turkish League and atop the Group E EuroLeague standings.
Galatasaray won its play-in series against Landes in EuroLeague play. Williams averaged 8.0 points and 6.0 rebounds. Meanwhile, Williams posted six points in the club's Turkish League playoff win over Nesibe, with the deciding game scheduled for March 21. If Galatasaray wins that game, it will advance.
Continuing to rival Williams' Galatasaray is Uzun's Fenerbahce, which finished the KBSL and EuroLeague regular seasons atop their respective standings. Like Galatasaray, Fenerbahce played its first-round KBSL playoff series on March 2-3. Uzun had six points and four assists in the first game of the series. Fenerbahce also won its first-round EuroLeague playoff series against Girona.
Ajsa Sivka continues to suit up for Joventut. On March 1, she scored 11 points and four rebounds, making 50.0% of her shots. She also recently competed in the European Championships, recording nine points and four rebounds in one of her top performances with Slovenia.
Ariel Atkins and Nurse both completed play with Athletes Unlimited in early March. On the overall league leaderboard of players, Atkins finished eighth.
On the season, Atkins' team only lost two of 12 games. She averaged 14.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.7 steals. She had two games with over 20 points, including 24 points on Feb. 26 with 11 field goals made. Her 2.7 steals were the league leader by far, and she had four games this season with more than four steals.
Nurse averaged 16.3 points while making 33.3% of her threes. She also contributed 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in her 12 games.
Cardoso is still suiting up for Guangdong Vermilion Birds, with playoffs set to commence later this month.
Michaela Onyenwere, serving as assistant coach for UCLA women's basketball, helped her team win the Big Ten Tournament. UCLA is back-to-back Big Ten Tournament champions in their first two years in the conference and is slated to be a No. 1 seed in the upcoming 2026 NCAA Tournament.
