CHICAGO—The Chicago Sky have waived guard Tori Jankoska from Michigan State University and forward Shayla Cooper from The Ohio State University.
Jankoska and Cooper were a part of the 2017 WNBA draft class. Jankoska was selected by the Sky in the first round (9th overall). Cooper was drafted to the Connecticut Sun in the second round (13th overall) and was later signed to a training camp contract with the Sky on April 29. Jankoska and Cooper did not play in the Sky’s season opener against Minnesota.
The Sky anticipate the return of Allie Quigley and Courtney Vandersloot when their international competition is complete.
