Sky Re-Sign Guard Linnae Harper to 7-Day Contract

The Chicago Sky announced today the team has re-signed guard Linnae Harper to a seven-day contract.

Harper, a Chicago native from the city’s West Side, has played in 11 games with the Sky so far this season, averaging 44.4 percent shooting from beyond the arc. In her first appearance clocking at least 10 minutes of gameplay on July 7, Harper helped the Sky defeat the four-time WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx by posting seven points, one steal, one assist, and two rebounds in the game’s second half.

“[Linnae] is such an incredible player, where she can come in and just impact the game,” Sky guard Courtney Vandersloot said of the 23-year-old rookie. “She’s an amazing teammate. She just [stays] ready.”
