The Chicago Sky are proud to host the 5th Annual Veteran & Diversity Hiring Expo from 2 to 6 p.m. July 18 at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois in Chicago.
With a goal of bringing together like-minded companies and retaining inclusive workplaces throughout Chicagoland, the Sky welcome veterans, women, minorities and those with disabilities to connect with corporations looking to hire qualified candidates.
“We are extremely fortunate to be able to host our 5th Annual Veteran & Diversity Hiring Expo,” said James Burda, Vice President of Sponsorship Marketing. This event has experienced great success in its first four years resulting in a nearly 40% hiring rate for those who attend the expo. We pride ourselves on creating a diverse and inclusive environment which is why we expanded our Veteran’s hiring expo to include women, minorities and the disabled.”

Companies can also reserve a table to participate, which includes a light lunch for representatives, two tickets to Hoops for Troops Night on July 30th and a donation of 10 tickets to the same game donated to Veterans on the company’s behalf.
