CHICAGO – The Chicago Sky will host “Fan Appreciation Night” presented by Juicy Fruit on Sunday, September 3 at Allstate Arena. This will be the Sky’s final regular season home game as they face the Seattle Storm at 5:00 p.m. CT. The night will encompass fun, prizes, giveaways and the opportunity for fans to hear from their favorite Sky players. The first 2,000 fans will receive a complimentary t-shirt and all fans will receive a team poster courtesy of Juicy Fruit.
“We are proud to partner with the Sky to celebrate Fan Appreciation Night,” said John Olson, Mars Wrigley Confectionary Sr. Associate Brand Manager. “Tonight is dedicated to the fans, and we are happy to honor the extended Sky family by bringing a little Juicy Fruit Fun to the celebration!”
Each year the players, coaches and staff enjoy this game as an opportunity to say “thank you” to the fans that have supported them throughout the season.
“I have spent my entire career with the Sky but have competed all over the world, and I can say, with confidence, that we have the best fans,” said Sky guard Courtney Vandersloot. “Every year the crowd gets bigger and louder and we are proud to celebrate them during Fan Appreciation Night.”
Prior to tip-off, fans can visit the Sky Garage Sale in the Community Corner to pick up Sky memorabilia. Doors open at 4 p.m. Additionally, there will be a postgame Fan Appreciation Ice Cream Social on the Sky court where fans will hear from the coaches and players. This will be one game fans will not want to miss.
