High School Team of the Year 2018
You’re invited to nominate your team for the Sky’s annual High School Team of the Year program that recognizes girls’ high school basketball teams in Illinois whose athletes demonstrate sportsmanship and leadership on and off the court.
The Sky will select 10 teams on a weekly basis who will then be eligible to win the High School Team of the Year Award that will be announced at center court on Opening Night. Every Wednesday, starting December 6th, the Sky will announce a weekly winner via press release, social media and on the Official Sky website.
High School Teams of the Week will receive:
- 15 complimentary tickets to 2018 Opening Night at Wintrust Arena where the High School Team of the Year winner will be announced
- 15 Sky High School Team of the Week Winner T-Shirts
- Post-game meet-n-greet with a Sky player on Opening Night
- Free visit from the Sky mascot Sky Guy at your school
The 2018 High School Team of the Year winner will also receive a complimentary basketball clinic led by Sky coaches & players and the opportunity to host the Sky’s 50/50 Charity raffle where they can raise funds for their team & athletic department.
