About LGBTCC:
The LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois (LGBTCC) is a statewide business advocacy organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting the voices of 50,000 LGBTQ+ business owners across Illinois. We support our 300 member businesses by providing them access to marketing, professional development, networking, and advocacy.
What does PRIDE month mean to your company?
For us at the LGBTCC, PRIDE is about celebrating and supporting LGBTQ+ owned businesses who keep our city moving forward, and our community employed.
How have you integrated the message of acceptance and inclusion into your business?
Acceptance and inclusion are at the core of our identity, and can be found in the many events and programs that we offer, including our Affinity Networks. Through our Black, Women, and LatinX Affinity Networks, we help to champion acceptance and inclusion for those with intersectional identities.
What can members of the Chicago community learn from PRIDE month?
As we celebrate PRIDE, members of the community can learn about tolerance, love, inclusion, and supporting their fellow neighbor who looks different from them.
