The Sky at NBA All-Star 2012

Swin Cash & Ruth Riley will join other WNBA players to continue their long-standing commitment to social responsibility, community service and youth education at NBA All-Star 2012 in Orlando.

Ruth Riley will tip off her activities on Thursday, February 23 with the NBA FIT All-Star Youth Celebration taking place on Center Court inside NBA All-Star Jam Session.

Other WNBA players participating in Jam Session events on Thursday include Tamika Catchings and Briann January, of the Indiana Fever; Sophia Young of the San Antonio Silver Stars; Ashley Robinson of the Washington Mystics; 10-year veteran Marie Ferdinand-Harris; and WNBA Legends Nykesha Sales and Teresa Edwards.

Both Cash & Riley will participate in the NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service on Friday, February 24 15-year when they will join more than 1,500 members of the NBA family, including All-Stars, Legends, partners and volunteers at three locations throughout Central Florida to create and refurbish eight places to live, learn or play.

Live - In partnership with Rebuilding Together Orlando and Kia Motors, NBA Cares will revitalize five homes in the Tangelo Park neighborhood.

Learn - In partnership with Hands On Orlando, HP and State Farm, NBA Cares will refurbish the interior and exterior of the Coalition for the Homeless, including the creation of a new computer lab, and package food for local families in support of Share Our Strengths No Kid Hungry Campaign.

Play - In partnership with KaBOOM! and adidas, NBA Cares will build a 5,000 square foot playground for local children from the ground up.

On Saturday, February 25 both Cash & Riley will attend various functions before concluding their night at NBA All-Star Saturday night where they will enjoy the Haier Shooting Stars, Taco Bell Skills Challenge, Foot Locker Three Point contest and the Sprite Slam Dunk contest.

Both Ruth & Swin will be up early on Sunday, February 26 when Ruth joins NBA Cares and Lindsay Harding to host a Special Olympics Clinic in which 70 local Special Olympic athletes participate in a basketball clinic while Swin will attend the NBA Legends Brunch. Both Cash & Riley will spend time with Make-A-Wish children during the All-Star game on Sunday night.
