Sky Broadcast Commentators

Lisa Byington enters her first year on the Sky broadcast team as the play-by-play announcer. She has been a member of the Big Ten Network broadcast team since its launch in 2007, serving as a sideline reporter for football and mens basketball. In addition, she serves as a studio host and play-by-play announcer for womens basketball and other Olympic sports. In 2012, she joined CBS Sports network as a football sideline reporter. Byington, a native of Portage, Michigan received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University where she also starred as a two-sport athlete in basketball (1994-98) and soccer (1997-98).

Brooke Weisbrod enters her first season on the Sky broadcast team serving as the color analyst. Weisbrod has been a college basketball analyst with ESPN since 2003, regularly calling men's and womens basketball telecasts. She extensively covers the NCAA Womens Basketball Championship and serves as a studio analyst for ESPNU, The Big Ten Network, and CBS. She has also covered college football and basketball as a sideline reporter. Weisbrod, a native of Cincinnati, graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a marketing degree in 2001. She played college basketball for CCU (1997-2001) and was named the Big South Player of the Year, the Big South Scholar Athlete of the Year and the NCAA Woman of the Year for South Carolina in 2001. She also played professionally for a short time in Germany.

Patricia Babcock-McGraw, Sideline Reporter
Patricia Babcock-McGraw will give Sky fans live updates from the sidelines during the 2013 season. Babcock-McGraw, who joined the Daily Herald as sports writer and columnist in 1997, writes the popular weekly column, Womens Watch. The column highlights a variety of womens professional and collegiate sports. Babcock-McGraw received the Peter Lisagor Award in 2002 for her series on the 30th anniversary of Title IX. Her extensive sport knowledge is utilized as a voter for The Associated Press womens college basketball Top 25 weekly poll as well as the Nancy Lieberman and John Wooden Awards. She took her vast sports knowledge off the page in 2007 working as color analyst for the Chicago Sky and the Big Ten Network. Babcock-McGraw attended Northwestern University where she studied journalism and played basketball.
