Draft Watch: Kulas and Plaisance

Bri Kulas (Mizzou)

Forward Bri Kulas played in 31 games (30 starts) to help Mizzou to a 17-14 record for the season. Kulas averaged 18.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2 assists per game. She led her Tigers in field goals made on the year with 192, as well as defensive rebounds with 158.

Kulas left her mark at Mizzou with a standout 2013 season. In an SEC Tournament game against Missispi, she led her team with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Mizzous season ended with a first round loss to Creighton in the Womens National Initiation Tournament (WNIT). Despite the teams loss, Kulas ended the year on a high note. She finished her career at the University of Missouri with 49 double-figure games and 1,008 points.

Theresa Plaisance (LSU)

Theresa Plaisance, a forward at LSU, played in all 34 games (30 starts) in the 2013 season to lead the team to a 21-13 record. Plaisance averaged 15.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for the year. She led her team in field goals made with 188 and total rebounds with 269.

Plaisance, and her fellow Tigers, lost to Louisville in the NCAA Regional Semifinals, but had a valiant tournament run. In their first round game against Georgia Tech, Plaisance helped her team to a 98-78 win by delivering 21 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant forward ends her career as one of just 18 players in LSU history to score 1,000 points and pull down 500 rebounds. She was awarded All-Southeastern Conference First Team in each of her last two seasons.
