A Day in the Life: Candice Dupree

I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season. As most of you may know, I was playing for a team in Russia. I was out there for about two months before I decided that it wasn't for me. I came back to the states and decided that after the holiday I would go back and finish school. Right now I am in Philadelphia doing an internship, and of course working out to get ready for the season.

My mornings are spent at Temple University with my former coaches. They work me out and are in charge of keeping me in playing shape. I also try and practice with the women's team as much as possible.

The rest of the day consists of working at a training facility called, Velocity Sports, from 1-8 pm. The great part about working here is that their gym is open to me to lift weights and work on my jump shot, which I take full advantage of whenever I can! As you can see my days are pretty full, but I'm enjoying myself and looking forward to getting my degree. I also can't wait for the season to begin, and I'm hoping that you all are just as excited.
