Chicago Dreaming of Revenge at Allstate Arena

The Sky have been dreaming of a rematch with Atlanta ever since the Dream stole a thrilling 71-68 win from Chicago on June 21. The first matchup featured a back-and-forth battle in the waning minutes until Atlantas Angel McCoughtry blocked Epiphanny Princes final three-point attempt at the buzzer to seal the victory.

The Dream used a balanced attack led by McCoughtry with 14 points to take down the Sky in Atlanta. Erika de Souza, Iziane Castro Marques and Lindsey Harding also scored in double figures for the Dream. The Sky was led by Sylvia Fowles with 21 points, and Tamera Young chipped in 14 points off the bench.

The Sky rallied after a slow start to take a 55-53 lead with 7:29 left in the game, but a comeback win was not in the books for Chicago.

Despite having the early season blemish on their record against their Eastern Conference rivals, Chicago has played well at Allstate Arena this season and will be geared up for the second of four meetings between the two teams on Saturday.

Its an early season must win for the Chicago Sky as the team pushes for the playoffs.
