Quarter-Finals Round 3: Liaoning - Guangdong
Xiaoli Chenled Liaoning to a victory over Guangdong, 66-81. Chen scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. International forwardZengyu Maalso contributed 21 points and 5 rebounds. Chicago Sky forwardSwin Cashrecorded 18 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and international centerWei Weiscored 10 points and 6 rebounds for Guangdong.
It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Guangdong Dolphins's pressure prevailed and they won that period 24-14 extending their advantage to 14 points. Guangdong Dolphins had a 33-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sky forward Swin Cash nailed 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and center Wei Wei accounted for 18 points and five rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots). Center Ruth Riley came up with 13 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Xiaoli Chen added 11 points and six rebounds respectively for Liaoning Hengye in the defeat.

Regular Season Round 22: Guangdong - Zhejiang
79-72 (16-23, 17-25, 24-8, 22-16)
Zhejiang Far East (10-12) lost to Swi Cashs Guangdong Dolphins (14-8) in Guangzhou 72-79. Zhejiang Far East was ahead by 15 points at the halftime before a 46-24 second half run of Guangdong Dolphins. Chicago Skys Swin Cash had 16 points, 13 rebounds and four assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Wei Wei chipped in 19 points during the contest. At the losing side center Katie Mattera responded with 25 points and eight rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Lan Bian scored 13 points. Zhejiang Far East's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Guangdong Dolphins moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Jiangsu. Zhejiang Far East lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Regular Season Round 21: Heilongjiang - Guangdong
67-91 (18-24, 19-20, 16-21, 14-26)
Swin Cashs Guangdong Dolphins (13-8) played at the court of 7th ranked Heilongjiang Chenneng (11-10). Guangdong Dolphins dismataled Heilongjiang Chenneng 91-67. Guangdong led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Heilongjiang Chenneng's 54. They outrebounded Heilongjiang Chenneng 45-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. Guangdong Dolphins brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a good game for Cash who led her team to a victory with 23 points and 15 rebounds. Yuan Ding contributed with 19 points and six rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Guangdong Dolphins players scored in double figures. YanYan Ji answered with 26 points, six rebounds and six assists and Rashiday Junaid added 18 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Heilongjiang Chenneng. Guangdong Dolphins moved-up to fifth place in the standings, which they share with Jiangsu. Guangdong will play against Zhejiang Far East in Hangzhou in the next round. Heilongjiang Chenneng will play at home against Qujing Yunnan.

Regular Season Round 19: Shenyang - Guangdong
77-87 (23-18, 17-28, 16-22, 21-19)
Swin Cash and the Guangdong Dolphins (12-7) beat top-ranked Shenyang Golden Lions (14-5) in Dandong on Saturday night 87-77. The Dolphins trailed by five points after first quarter, but rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the half and eventually take the game. Guangdong made 31-of-39 free shots (79.5 percent) during the game and outrebounded Shenyang 40-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. 29 personal fouls committed by Shenyang Golden Lions helped their opponents get some easy free throw opportunities (Swin shot 11 of 14 from the free throw line). Cash had a great performance recording 21 points and nine rebounds to lead her team. Also, International center Wei Wei contributed with 15 points and seven rebounds for the winners and four Dolphins players scored in double figures. LiJie Miao answered with 25 points and the former international power forward Liwei Song added 20 points in the effort for Golden Lions. Both coaches used bench players, which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guangdong has a solid three game winning streak going and moved-up to fourth place in the standing. The Dolphins will face Liaoning Hengye (#3) in Anshan in the next round and Shenyang will play at home against Qujing Yunnan.
