2012 Sky Season Schedule

Armed with All-Stars Swin Cash and Sylvia Fowles, the Sky enters its seventh season in the WNBA under the leadership of second-year Head Coach Pokey Chatman. Chicago will open the 34 game regular season on Friday May 19, on the road in Washington D.C where they will face the Washington Mystics.

The Sky will play 17 home games at Allstate Arena, opening with their Midwest rival the Indiana Fever, who are led by the 2011 WNBA MVP Tamika Catchings, on Friday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Weekends will be busy at Allstate Arena in 2012 as 10 of the 17 regular-season Sky home games will be played on a Friday (7), Saturday (1) and Sunday (2). Highlights include a visit by Diana Taurasi and the up-tempo Phoenix Mercury on Friday June 29, a matchup with Naperville Central High School graduate Candace Parker and the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday September 2, and a showdown against the 2011 WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday September 11.

After drawing the Skys largest crowd of the 2011 season with 13,838 on Camp Day the Sky will host two afternoon Camp Day games in 2012, against the Indiana Fever on Wednesday June 27 and against the San Antonio Silver Stars on Wednesday July 11.

The Sky will play the Connecticut Sun, Friday, July 13 at home before the WNBAs Olympic Break. The League will be on hiatus July 14 through August 15 to accommodate WNBA players competing for Team USA at the Olympics. The Sky will resume post-Olympic break action against the Atlanta Dream Friday, August 17. Chicagos regular season schedule concludes Saturday, September 22 when the Sky hosts the Washington Mystics.
