The Chicago Sky returns home to take on the Los Angeles Sparks at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.
The matchup will mark the first meeting between the respective team’s superstars Elena Delle Donne and Candace Parker since the roster for the US Women’s National team for the 2016 Olympics was announced. Parker, a gold medal winner in 2008 and 2012, was seen as a surprise omission from Geno Auriemma’s squad, while Delle Donne will be representing her country for the first time. Last season, Delle Donne averaged 23.4 points and 8.4 rebounds, posting the best offensive rating in WNBA history on her way to the 2015 WNBA MVP Award.
