The Chicago Sky will conduct its fourth annual Veteran’s Hiring Expo on Monday, July 11 hosted by Robert Morris University Illinois. The event is free for veterans to attend by registering online at www.veteranshiringexpo.org.
Along with the Veteran’s Trust and the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), the Sky invites Chicago-land veterans to network and interview directly with employers onsite.
“The Chicago Sky is pleased to partner with the Veterans Trust and IDES for our fourth year of helping veterans with positive career placement,” said Sky Vice President of Marketing Partnerships Jim Burda. “By hosting the Expo at Robert Morris University Illinois’ downtown campus, we are aiming to exceed the 40% success rate we have achieved at past Hiring Expos.”
The Expo will be held at Robert Morris University Illinois, located at 401 S. State Street in Chicago from 2-6:30 p.m. CT. A networking reception for all companies and veterans in attendance will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. CT.
Interested companies may also take part in the expo by paying a participation fee, which includes a booth at the event, free parking, tickets to the July 15 Sky home game and more.
