Macaulay Added To Training Camp Roster

Free agent Victoria Macaulay has been signed to a training camp contract. Per team policy, contract terms were not disclosed.

“Victoria’s hard work, along with her athleticism, has truly aided in her continued growth on the offensive end of the floor,” said Sky Head Coach and General Manager Pokey Chatman. “I’m looking forward to having her compete for a roster spot during training camp.”

As an undrafted rookie out of Temple University in 2013, Macaulay made an impression overseas and earned an invitation to attend the Indiana Fever’s 2014 training camp. In four preseason appearances with the Fever, the 6-foot-4 center averaged 2.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

During the 2013-14 season, Macaulay competed for Parma in the Italian League, averaging 15.9 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Most recently, she played for Napoli, also in Italy, averaging 15.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.0 block per game.

Macaulay will join the Chicago Sky when training camp begins on Sunday, May 17. The Sky opens the 2015 Season on June 5 at Allstate Arena when they host the Indiana Fever in a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference Finals. Prior to tip-off, the team will unveil its 2014 Eastern Conference Championship banner. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 866.SKY.WNBA or visit CHICAGOSKY.NET.
