Chicago Sky General Manager and Head Coach Amber Stocks announced today that the team has signed free agent center Renee Bennett.
The Muskego, Wisconsin native and 6-foot-5 Ball State standout was an All-Mid American Conference First Team selection and finished her collegiate career with 1,234 points. Bennett averaged 17.6 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game during her senior season.
In April 2017, she signed a training camp contract with the New York Liberty, playing in two games and averaging 10.3 minutes per game. Bennett maintained a 28.6 field goal percentage and averaged 2.5 points per game.
She also played internationally from September 2017 to March 2018 with the Valencia Basket Club in the Spanish Basketball Federation where she averaged 15:31 minutes per game and 5.6 points per game with a 43.2 field goal percentage.
